I am crying as I write this. Just a little over a week ago I rescued a Jack russell terrier mix puppy. She has already went to a puppy obedience class and was praised for her intelligence. But she is very aggressive towards my family and I. She has been biting and pulling the kids. She nonstop bites all of us. She also has jumped on my cats and tried to hold them down and bite them. The trainer and the rescue are saying that she won't kill my cats and she's just playing but I noticed that she is very aggressive and she doesn't listen. Idk what to do. I've been doing positive reinforcement but it's not working She even growls at my cats and lunges. My cats are scared. Should I get an e collar or muzzle? Please help. We got Daisy three years ago from a sheep farm and I'm starting to think that she isn't a full border collie. We got her at 16 weeks and saw her with her mum who was definitely a full black and white border but dad was apparently out working the sheep. I'm thinking that dad may have been an Australian Shepherd. Her breeding makes absolutely no difference to us, I'm just asking out of curiosity.
