It happens almost every time I post a picture of her. I get it. Her nails are too long. I KNOW they’re too long. You can’t just cut a dog’s nails in half to shorten them. It’s a very gradual process. You should’ve seen them four months ago.

I literally file her nails every single day. They were overgrown when I got her. It can take up to a year to get a dog’s nails back to being short. My dog has a long, thick quick that is almost impossible to see through her nails. It would hurt her to shorten them faster.

I want to share photos of my dog without worrying about being shamed every goddamn time.
