[Vent] If your dog is matted, stop complaining and leaving bad reviews on your Groomer’s page when they shave your dog!Dog Talks

I can’t believe this is such an issue right now. My dog’s groomer is excellent. Almost every single review that’s bad (I’m talking 90%), is because she shaved a dog that was matted, and the owner didn’t like the look.

If you get a dog with a high maintenance coat, you have to take care of that coat if you want to maintain it!

Never mind that a matted coat could seriously hurt your dog. It can cause sores, cut off airflow to certain areas, and even cause hematomas and cut off blood circulation in severe cases.

The groomer shaved the dog because the matted fur could and possibly already did hurt the dog! I can’t believe people don’t understand that.
