[VENT] Faking a service animal should be legally punished.Dog Talks

I am so sick and tired of these misbehaving, aggressive, unsocialized dangerous dogs getting away with literally whatever they want because their jerk of an owner bought a 25$ red vest off of Amazon.

No, your dog isn't a service dog because you put a vest on it. No, your dog isn't a service dog because you put a patch on it. No, your dog isn't a service dog because you have anxiety.

In my townhouse complex we have rules against out of control dogs. Just tonight an enormous golden was dragging his owner to me and my dog and boyfriend snarling and barking. We were literally standing there while my dog was peeing. I told the guy my dog will attack his if he comes any closer. I'm sick of dealing with this. I'm sick of being harassed by fake service dogs in public. I'm sick of REAL service dogs and their owners being harassed because people are faking them. I have a very reactive dog and all of these dogs coming at him aggressively is preventing us from moving forward in our training. And the landlords don't want to deal with the insane people who own these dogs so nothing gets done about it.

Why aren't there more laws in place to protect actual disabled people and their REAL service dogs? This makes no sense. By letting people pass any dog as technically a legally protected dog you are putting people and other dogs in literal danger. And the rules are so vague that no one wants to argue with the psychos who own these insane dogs because the cops can't really do anything about it unless the dog bites someone. Absolutely infuriating.
