[Fluff] My dang dog loves hot sauce.Dog Talks

I know. Don't tell me, I know. No hot sauce for him. It's bad and we don't.

He's a Sato from Puerto Rico and he was wicked skinny when we got him. We cleaned him up, got rid of the worms, figured out he needs a ton of fiber to not end up with anal gland issues, figured out high fat makes him nauseous.

And these past few weeks we've had a couple spicy meals and oh my goodness is he up in our face, nose wiggling, best "pitty the poor puppy" desperate expression on his face. He wants hot spice so bad. He never really begs at mealtimes - he's terribly respectful of our meals. Unless there's hot sauce.

All I can figure is, when he was half starved his best meals were human leftovers and he got a taste for it. It was bad for him, but less bad than starving.

What kills me is my prissy princess of a hound (also rescue but she's a Lady and she'll make your eardrums bleed if you forget that fact) - she'll scarf down any kibble and look for more, but this lil man will turn up his nose if it's not super fresh from a new bag. Boy, you were a street dog, why are you fussy! It's still so good I'd be willing to eat it, dog!
