[Discussion] May have finally found a training treat!Dog Talks

My dog's sweet, but when we adopted him, he wasn't trained to do more than sit whenever his leash came out. We love him, but it was incredibly frustrating that he was incredibly aggressive to only my grandmother because of her cane. We'd pretty much given up on training him and he'd become known as the "cute, but dumb" dog among our family, because no treat ever managed to tear his attention away from barking and lunging at the door whenever she came by. It came to the point that my grandmother dreaded coming to our house. This morning he surprised her and she almost fell over, and we began to worry that we would have to give him up for her sake. Yesterday, I happened to give him some Chihuahua cheese and he went CRAZY over it, so this evening I tried distracting him from my grandmother with the cheese, and he actually ignored her for a few moments! I was so surprised that I tried training him again this time with the cheese, and he actually sat multiple times on command! I'm so happy I found something that may work for training!

Tl;dr: I found a treat that seems to work for my untrainable dog.
