[discussion] Golden vs Labrador retrievers?Dog Talks

Everything I have read had said these two breeds are super similar, labs being, on average, just slightly bigger, and goldens tending to be a little more “chill” as long as they get adequate exercise, while labs have NO chill.

Would you say this is an accurate? What is your experience with these two breeds?

We have decided to put in applications at breed specific rescues so that temperament is evaluated and there is a good support system in case of serious issues. There is a golden rescue and a lab rescue in my area, trying to decide which one to put in an application with(maybe we should do both and then wait and see who we fall in love with first?) thoughts?
