[Discussion] Fixed my dog's barking and zooming after dinner with a "sniffy/snuffle puzzle"! Never underestimate the power of some simple mental stimulation. https://ift.tt/eA8V8J My 1 yr 8 mo old Corgi is a really good girl. She's pretty set for the day with a good sniffy walk and fetch or flirt pole twice a day, and has agility and manners class each week. She spends most of her day just snoozing. I try to do daily training sessions, but I've fallen of the wagon with that and wasn't giving her the training I used to. So after dinner she had been getting the zoomies, barking, and sort of chewing some things she wasn't supposed to. It was frustrating, but I soon realized she was bored. So in addition to trying to at least do some training each day, after her dinner I've been having her wait on her bed while I make a "sniffy puzzle". I take a cardboard box and fill it with blankets, towels, tissue paper, toilet paper rolls, Tupperware, anything I can find and hide treats in it. It takes her 20+ minutes to finish and she is all tired out after! She snoozes so peacefully after and I'm so happy she's so content. Don't understand the power of a good sniff and forage for treats to give your dog that extra mental stimulation they need! Pup tax of the content Corgi dogs Mitchmatchedsocks
