[Help] What to say to a neighbor who hasn't tried to do anything about their constantly barking dog https://ift.tt/eA8V8JMy upstairs neighbor's dog barks non-stop from 9am-6pm and sometimes late into the evening because the owner is gone. I work from home, so it's quite an issue for me. Here is what I've done:Left a polite note on their door alerting them that their dog barks most of the day. ("Not sure if you're aware, but your dog can be heard barking through the floor" kind of note)Contacted my landlord who has spoken with them twice about it.Notified animal control in my city who has sent them a "warning" letter.I chose to have my landlord talk to them about it because it seemed like the most neutral solution. She's a very nice lady.I'm not sure I want to escalate anything further with animal control (although it is concerning that they are hardly ever home...), so I'm wondering if anyone has ideas of what to say to them in person?? I don't want to sound accusatory or angry and I'm not sure how they'll react, plus I'm quite introverted, so I'm having a hard time picturing how an in-person conversation would go. Has anyone had a successful conversation about this sort of thing?dogs
