[Fluff] New pup has gone from a home where the other animals hated him to our home with his new best friend. (Puppy tax included) https://ift.tt/eA8V8J A coworker of mine recently made the tough decision to rehome her puppy after a few weeks as he and their older dog and cats were at odds with one another creating a stressful environment for everyone. I have gained so much respect for her for making the tough choice to rehome the puppy and not her senior dog as is far too common in my area (and in general). Anyway, Gimli has now been with my fiancé, our other pup, Phoenix, and I for two weeks and so far we’re all so happy! He’s a good boy with mostly good manners and of course, his cute factor certainly doesn’t hurt. Mostly, I’m so thankful that not only have Gimli and Phoenix become best friends, but the new pup has helped Phoenix with his separation anxiety tremendously. (No, getting another pup wasn’t our solution, but rather it was a happy perk of the new addition.) So far, Phoenix has been a great big brother in playtime & snuggles, teaching him how to own those scary stairs, sharing the best treats, protecting him from the dreaded vacuum and lawnmower, and to my dismay, teaching him how to dig the best holes. Please enjoy the puppy tax as I cannot help but share my joy with anyone who will listen! Puppy tax: Gimli & Phoenix dogs dog_mom92
