[Discussion] My dog sometimes makes me look like a battered woman https://ift.tt/eA8V8J I have a 140 lb cane corso that just turned 1 in May. He is a ball of energy and loves playing but sometimes he forgets that he is the size of a full grown human and made of pure muscle. A couple of days ago, I was playing with him and he jumped up to grab the toy I had just won and his face hit the bridge of my nose and broke it! I have two black eyes and my nose is a bit puffy. I went to my doctor to make sure everything was good since it bled a lot and they kept asking me if I felt safe at home and if anyone would hurt me, etc. On top of that some other times he will swat me while we play so I get a few bruises. Though, in his defense, I bruise SUPER easily and get bruises from him just jumping up next to me cuddle. I assured my doctor that it was just my dog and that I live alone with him so I'm safe and she got a pretty good kick out of that. As a note, my dog is actually very well behaved. He listens to commands and doesn't ever get rough with anyone. I only ever get marks because he is very large and he plays tug like his life depends on it and the bruises don't hurt, I'm just a peach. He did seem to be very regretful that he hurt my nose though and has been extra sweet to me the past couple of days! dogs bon3rch4mp
