The Man! the Legend!
The Man! The Legend!
That is my 'go to' Dog Expert...
Please let me introduce my eldest brother
Dave Hollis.
Dave has been a part of the working dog world in the UK for 30+ years now, starting as a Security dog handler in the commercial sector before, as you can see in the picture above, becoming an RAF Police Dog handler in HM Forces in the UK, rising to rank of Sergeant becoming a Senior Instructor of both Handlers and Dogs, General Purpose Guard Dogs and also elite Detection Dogs.
Upon leaving the Military ( after 22 years serving in active war zones around the world )
he has been recruited and consulted by many leading commercial companies involved with Security, Protection and Detection dogs.
Both he and I have worked together on Security details including guarding events such as the world famous Reading Rock Festival.
Over the years we have been involved in training pets, security, protection and detection dogs and supplying handler/dog teams to various locations throughout the UK
Now I have retired from active dog work, Dave still provides me with advise and expertise as he carries on his work as the director of Dog Training and Assessment at a private commercial Security Company.
He is often in photographs/videos I take and provide and many, of his own dogs are often used.
He has lectured on all aspects of dog behaviour ,training and handler tuition and has been successful in working dog trials, even owning in the past a dog grooming parlour.
He lives and breathes dogs ( and even smells like them he says ) also has cats too!
his other passion is motorcycles and again many of his bikes may be seen in photographs and videos I upload
He has been a keen bird owner also, owning many Parrots, a Buzzard, a Harris Hawk and right now a Barn Owl.
He also rides horses and has owned many in the past with 2 at the moment.
One could say he is at 'one' with animals period.
